CHALLENGE

Overcome sportsbook users’ general scepticism of pre-made parlays provided by the bookmaker.

INSIGHT

Users greatly value the speed and lack of cognitive overhead that pre-made combos provide.

Users are also much more likely to place a bet when it features a public figure they recognize or even a team or game they follow prominently.

EXECUTION

In order to create a united narrative I worked with both our internal creative team and our internal product design team to build a product that was marketable and clearly communicated the value of the feature. The result was “Quick Combos”

Quick Combos allowed us to brand the feature externally while also immediately communicating their strongest RTB, quick bets and quick wins.

The feature’s design also allowed for the use of custom icons and titles where we were able to feature our most popular influencers directly on the combos. This greatly improved synergy between external and internal marketing channels.

A “bets placed” counter and timer were also added to incentivize FOMO behaviour.

Quick Combos that featured one of our influencers performed 300% better than their generic alternatives.

Quick Combos also included branding for “Boosted Combos” when the payouts were jacked up.
