In the crowded world of NBA betting, how can we connect directly with our regional audiences in key moments without the large scale sponsorships of our competitors?
INSIGHT
NBA fans under the age of 40 primarily receive their NBA league updates from social media. Live television is secondary.
EXECUTION
Rivalry partnered with Basketball Forever to create unique branded content served during crucial moments of the NBA playoffs. Elevated beyond a logo on a meme or highlight post.
By utilizing tactical Instagram boosts we were able to push these posts into our key basketball markets (at the time, Ontario and the Philippines) to create massive reach numbers and connect with our audience more dynamically than that of a traditional sponsorship.
RESULTS
3,500,000 impressions at $11 CPM in Ontario. 11,500,000 impressions at $1.55 CPM in the Philippines.
